Improvements on the titular game that simulates an agrarian lifestyle
Windows 8 / Windows 7 / Windows Vista / Windows XP
The Farming Simulator 2013 update is a technical patch for the game of the same name.
One of the most inexplicable gaming successes of the last few decades has been the Farming Simulator franchise. The 2013 iteration of the series is well liked, and the patch that was put out for the multiplayer server is a welcome addition. It's always good to see a game continue to get support after its launch, even if that support mostly deals with technical issues. This patch isn't anything special, but it will improve the gaming experience for anyone playing Farming Simulator 2013.
There were some hopes that this patch would change something about the game itself, but all of the changes are under the hood. There's no new content here, and most of the changes are going to go unnoticed by the public at large. This is a very basic sort of patch, the kind of thing that is usually released with no fanfare at all. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you honestly won't even notice that's it is out there. Unless you've experienced some specific bugs, there's nothing special here for you.
There's really not a good reason not to download this patch if you already have Farming Simulator 2013. While it doesn't make any robust changes to the game, the minor quality of life improvements are quite nice. At the end of the day, this is just one of those patches you should expect to download after buying a game. It's not going to change the world, but it will make your gaming experience a bit better.
